• 4Literature = 4Literature.net, an anonymously-run site for the publication of books of all genres and periods; very difficult to navigate around, but contains a number of texts not available elsewhere
• Aoidoi = Aoidoi.org, run from Madison, Wisconsin, USA, devoted to Greek poetry
• BCS = Bibliotheca Classica Selecta, in French, run from the Université catholique du Louvain, Belgium
• Bibliotheca Augustana = Bibliotheca Augustana, a multi-lingual e-texts site run by Ulrich Harsch in Augsburg, Germany
• Blackmask = Blackmask Online, operated by David Moynihan out of his basement in Maryland, USA; CAUTION: uses frames galore
• CCEL = Christian Classics Ethereal Library, run from Calvin College, Michigan, USA
• EdA = l'Encyclopédie de l'Agora, run anonymously from Québec, Canada
• EServer = The English Server, run from Iowa State University, USA
• ETC = The Electronic Text Center, run from the University of Virginia Library, USA; with a search engine to search the text of its translations
• Gallica = The digital library of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France
• ICA = Internet Classics Archive, run from MIT in Massachusetts, USA
• ILT = Institute for Learning Technologies, run from Columbia University, USA
• IMS = Internet Mediaeval Sourcebook, maintained by Paul Halsall at Fordham University, New York, USA
• LacusCurtius = LacusCurtius: Into the Roman World, maintained by Bill Thayer at the University of Chcago, USA
• Nimispauci = Nimispauci.com (maintained by J.-C. Belfiore?)
• OMACL = The Online Medieval and Classical Library, previously run by Douglas Killings; no longer actively updated
• OBI = The Online Book Initiative, headed by Barry Schein
• Perseus = The Perseus Project, run from Tufts University, USA, with mirror sites in Berlin (Germany) and Chicago (USA); contains bilingual versions of most of its texts, often with commentaries and cross-references; original-language versions have a dictionary look-up hypertext facility; links from LATO to Perseus are to the Tufts site. As the Tufts site is often very slow, you can try the Berlin or Chicago site simply by chopping the server name, "www.perseus.tufts.edu", out of the URL and replacing it with "perseus.uchicago.edu" (easier to remember) or "perseus.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de" (less easy)
